Commitment to the Environment
TJR GLOBAL COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT
TJR Global practices every day common sense regarding the protection and conservation of our global environment:
- TJR Global reuses packaging when practical – we also only purchase recycled packaging materials.
- We minimize our company’s carbon footprint with a travel policy that promotes the use of technology in lieu of fossil fuel
- Dependent travel methods. When we must travel, the company contributes to any carbon offset programs that are available from the carrier.
- Our internal IT Team began exclusively purchasing Energy Star compliant Equipment in January of 2008.
TJR Global is committed to fulfilling our customers’ needs with products free from hazardous elements as required by legislation that is in place, as well as pending. Our environmental policy has been implemented to identify materials that meet RoHS and REACH standards. We will recommend environmentally compliant substitute components whenever possible. Amendments are made to our environmental policy as needed in an effort to accommodate changing customer needs, the availability of new information or information sources, and/or economic factors.
TJR recognizes that environmental responsibility is integral to the production of world class products. In manufacturing operations, adverse effects on the community, environment and natural resources are to be minimized while safeguarding the health and safety of the public.
